You may remember our practice manager, Lisa Guthrie bagging the ”highly commended award” last year for practice manager of the year, well this year she has gone and won the TOP spot ”Practice Manager Of The Year 2018” awarded by ADAM (Association of dental administrators and managers). It is a huge achievement for Lisa who has worked at the practice for over 20 years starting as a young girl straight out of sixth form college, going on to qualify as a dental nurse in 1998 and then continue and further her education within the dental world by completing a 2 year receptionist programme and then the ultimate A Level degree in practice management. She has grown up with this practice and has been there for all the significant changes including moving premises and working on the building site over seeing everything. The thing she loves most about her job is her team and managing people and difficult situations. Her least favourite thing about the job is the compliance side of things although she is in favour of our new compliance system which makes life easier. Congratulations Lisa, here is to another 20+ years!
