Disabled Access

Here at Shotley Bridge Dental Care we have a private car park with large parking spaces for accessibility. We also have street parking right outside the building. Our surgery is all on the ground floor so wheelchair friendly. We have a dedicated spacious disabled toilet, as well as hearing loops if required. We will do our best to put suitable arrangements in place to accommodate your needs at the practice.

You may have heard that dental practices can open to routine care from Monday 8th June.

WHAT IS A DENTAL EMERGENCY?

  • Severe dental pain that does not subside with painkillers
  • Facial swelling that is compromising breathing, swallowing or eyesight
  • Dental trauma resulting in a tooth being broken or knocked-out
  • Heavy bleeding that does not stop after applying pressure with a damp gauze

ALL NON URGENT APPOINTMENTS ARE TO BE RE-SCHEDULED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!!!!! 

COVID-19 is affecting all our lives in a way we could not have expected.

As of today Monday 23rd March 2020 a decision has been made to cancel all routine and non urgent treatment appointments at the practice.

Managing Toothache at Home

During this difficult period of COVID-19 we have had to close our practice doors and can only see dental emergencies via prior appointment. To help patients through this period we have some advice as to how you can manage toothache from home. We are still here giving advice over the telephone so please call 01207 502621 only if you feel you have a urgent dental emergency.
